How to describe in French wat you are doing

If you want to describe in French what you are doing, it requires vocabulary: verbs for actions, names for what you handle. But you can make it simpler and just with 6 words (provided your interlocutor is in front of you).

Describe what you do in a simple way in French with 6 words (in the presence of your interlocutor)

Je fais ça. 
Je prends ça. 
Je mets ça là.

Explain in French how a device works

-> replace the « je » with the « tu »

Tu fais ça. 
Tu prends ça. 
Tu mets ça là.

For example, how do you use the microwave?
Six-word system
1. Je fais ça. (You open the microwave door)
2. Je prends ça. (You take the dish to warm up)
3. Je mets ça là. (You put the dish to heat inside the microwave)
4. Je fais ça. (You close the microwave door)
5. Je fais ça. (You program the power and the time))
6. Je fais ça. (You press on ‘start’)

To conclude each description, you can add : « Et voilà ! » (There you go!)
